| The Filter Factory is pleased to
introduce an innovative new way to seal nominal filter cartridges.
The 'PPM3' end cap combines the positive sealing of a 222 'o' ring end cap
with the economy of vinyl plastisol.
The Filter Factory process molds a complete end cap with integral 222 style o rings directly onto 2 1/2" diameter cartridges. The Filter Factory has the capability to mold this end cap onto string wound, melt blown, carbon and pleated cartridges.
The end cap is made of plastisol. When cured in our proprietary process this end cap becomes a permanent component of the cartridge, unlike the plastic end caps that are melted or spun welded onto cartridges. The integral 'O' rings provide positive sealing in your filter vessel.
The end cap has wide chemical compatibility and meets F D A specification for potable water.
The PPM3 end cap can be applied to standard cartridges manufactured by The Filter Factory or to cartridges supplied by others. Consult the factory for details. |
