| A OA-2 bag can absorb most of the oil in 400 gallons of liquid containing 1000 ppm of oil. This is based on a flow rate not to exceed 10 gpm. The heavier the oil the more the cartridge will absorb by weight. Lighter oils do not adhere to the polypropylene fibers as well and may "wick" out easier. Higher flow rates will also reduce the cartridges' ability to absorb oil. |
